The sky is still blue,

The rain is still cold,

The facts remain true,

The past is now old.

The emptiness is filled,

The pain doesn’t hurt,

Hate is sealed,

Peace within my heart.


Out of a life...

Memories fade,

Feelings change,

Healed where it bled,

So nothing is strange,

Emotions awake,

New bonds new love,

Some real some fake,

You get what you deserve.


Out of a life...

Years have passed,

A smile on your face,

You were not cursed,

In this new place,

A new chapter to begin,

Free from all guilt,

That’s why you fit in,

Be proud of what you’ve built.
