A search for the stars.

 The girl gazed upon her surroundings with a silent sense of awe,

As the quaint world pulsed with liveliness around her.

Each fire dancing with joy,

Each rainfall bursting with personality,

And each sunset leaving the vibrant world to rest.

She walked through forests with their mysterious and omnipotent knowledge,

She sailed each ocean,

Each with its vastly understanding soul.

The sky watched her from above,

And the earth protected her from below.

She had a forever growing sense of curiosity,

That let her perspective reach

Her most compelling thoughts,

She retried to rest in the grass and search the luminous sky for the stars above.

Now with her infinite wisdom and old age,

She has joined the stars she once searched for,

And the earth she once gazed upon

Now gazes upon her from afar.
